Who is Kerlund, a presentation

Why do I write this blog?

There is so much beauty in this world to enjoy and share. I can’t get enough of admiring photos from all corners of the world. This blog is my contribution to this great treasure.  I will offer some of my greatest photos from my home country; Sweden and also from my travel to different places, mainly in Europe.

I’m an amateur photographer who spend a lot of time behind the camera and in front of my computer, getting inspired of other photographers. This takes most of my time when I don’t spend it with my children. I am a working mom and my time to be a photographer are, of course, limited. But there are always a little time to spend each day:)

My photos are supposed to bring peace to your mind. I look for calmness and softness. I look for beautiful things in life to enjoy, in the nearby archipelago and great nature, but also while traveling.

I have other interests of course, most of all I like to be outdoors, in the nature or in some city walking. I love gardening, flowers are my other big passion. I usually use a Nikon D60 with just the standard lens. Sometimes I use iPhone camera. I try not to edit my photos too much, I like them to be natural.

I live in Sweden where most of the photos is taken:-)

      1. Hi Linda, if you go to the dashboard under settings I think if you check “follow” (or perhaps with your theme there is a widget called “follow” then a spot will appear at the top of your blog for wordpress bloggers to click on to have your posts flow into their readers. I think there is a way for you to turn this on by going to the dashboard.

  9. Hello newest Spikey! I know, a bit corny, eh, but that’s the term that has come to stick for those folk who are part of the clan known to be followers of Uncle Spike 🙂

Thank you… I really appreciate that as I for one, know how many interesting and entertaining blogs are out there.

My aim is to deliver an eclectic offering of posts, from my ‘point n shoot’ attempts at basic photography, to the sharing of my travel adventures over the decades, as well as day to day happenings here on the farm. Oh, plus a few observations on life as I see it, thrown in for good measure.

My promise to you is not to be overbearing, just a couple of posts a day, maybe 3 at weekends if I have something special to share. But if you are at a loose end one day, maybe you’ll enjoy trawling through some of my older stuff too. I have added plenty of categories to help in said digging process.

Thanks again and hope you have a great day…
