I can´t think of a better way to start of a new year. I love the cold crispy air and snowy landscapes. Unfortunately most snow is gone now, we have had rain… I can still feel how great it was hiking in the cold sunny day. There was a lot energy in the air. Its an incomparable source of happiness:)
Below there is some more photos from our hike the other day.
First winter landscape 2017… First days with snow, a few weeks passed since Christmas and we finally got our winter:) The sea is, as always, stunning. What can be more amazing than hiking in a sunny winter day? Lot of wonderful light that brings new energy to a tired mind.
I hope you all are able to enjoy the new year and that it started well for you:) I will try to be a more active blogger this year, even if I still studying. BUT I love nature and photography and it makes me happy so I guess its a great way to recover.
Every new day is just that… NEW and every sunny morning feels like e new beginning, filled with promises. A new sunny day!
I love getting up early, also when I have days off.
Last weekend (on Easter eave) I got up early and walked out into the sunny morning. The calmness was overwhelming and the world was as beautiful as ever. Love the calm water and the fragile light. Love the haze and the fresh, crispy morning air.
Time passes… Another year come and go: summer, autumn, winter, spring. Enjoy the day and embrace its beauty!
We observe the pace of life while watching the seasons pass and the children grow. Looking in my archives I find traces of the years that past. This week I have chosen two photos taken in almost the same spot but in different seasons: summer and autumn.

Suddenly when I woke up one morning it was all frosty outside, but still all boats where in the water and the nature was all green. A fast turn from summer to autumn this year…
But, I must say we where a bit cheated, few days later the weather was warm again and we still don’t have some really low temperatures, as we should by now. I love cold and crispy days, when the air is so clear and fresh, it look like I have to wait for that a bit longer. I hope for some snow before Christmas, but that’s not happening every year…
Sunny days in October, autumn is showing its best side. A visit to the archipelago makes the soul feel good. The environment is so calm and the light is awesome. Soon November will come and there are seldom sunny days that time of the year. I try to save some light until I get there:)
In Sweden there is vacation for all schools this week, and I have taken some time off too. A great period in the middle of autumn, time for a break and some rest.
Its soon time to start looking for christmas gifts and I have now made a new collection in my Zazzle store where you can order a set of printed canvas, a set of posters or a phone cases with seascape photographs.
Look here what I found this morning, when I was taking a walk and arrived at the marina: it was all frosty, already… I must say it adds some special beauty to things, that glimmering, ice cold frost. The sun really reinforce the glimmering:)
Titta här vad jag såg i morse när jag tog min promenad och kom till småbåtshamnen: allt täckt med frost, redan… Men ändå: det blir väldigt vackert med den glittrande, kalla frosten. Solen förstärker verkligen glittret:)
Autumn evening -I love the darkness and burnings skies. Every sunset is unique and wonderful, a nature’s artwork. I usually gets in a hurry, looking out and observing an all red sky. It never lasts long, I have to rush for my camera and outside to get my daily capture:) Not all evenings are this beautiful…
