Another wonderful weekend has come to an end
This weekend was amazing, first days of spring with sun and a stunning blue sky. We went out for a short hike, for some time in the sun and to eat some food outdoors.
We had a really wonderful weekend out there in the sun, with small projects like making a fire and cooking lunch:-) Hot chocolate is a must for my familiy on such hiking trip.
After lunch we went looking at the amazing views around the lake. This lake is called Nävsjön and is a great place to visit all year. There were people out on the lake, fishing, I would not have gone out on the ice, but I guess they knew what they where doing.
Reflecting sun, slowly melting the ice.
The ice is melting fast and I wonder how long it is possible to sit on the ice for fishing.
Nature is a great artist, I think the color mix is stunning and spot on or what do you think?
Do you have photos that you would like to showcase on Crowdifyclub?
Right now I’m trying out a new site: Crowdifyclub. It is a social network that pays members for various things that they are already doing for free. This includes uploading photographs, art, blogging, creating events, sharing content of other members and much more. Click here to read more.
The site is in startup mode right now and the number of members are increasing all the time.I think it is fun to join it from start. You can also join and create an account for free, to see what its all about. If you are interested in social media, photo, blogging or have some idea you like to get help sharing, go check it out:)
Here is some of my photos that I uploaded to Crowdifyclub:
The best thing this far is that I get a lot of help to be promoted. Of course this includes to help others and promote their ideas, blog posts and photos. It is about give and take like in everyday life. And that is what I think is the most promising part of Crowdifyclub.
Today there is a lot of sites where I can sell photos. I also know that there is a lot of social media sites. But I have not found a site that combines these activities and also encourage promotion. It is free to check out to see what it’s all about.
Waiting For the Sunrise
This time of the year is a dark period. In Sweden, we hardly get any daylight in December. But every year after the Holidays when celebrating Christmas with our families, the light returns.
And it will this year too. Christmas gives us time with the people we love, but it also brings us hope about lighter times. Hope about another summer to arrive.
I wish you all great Friday, where ever you are in the world and whatever season your in:) And remember: it’s always darkest before the sunrise. Take care!
Have a look in my store on Zazzle, there are, among other things three collections:
- Calendars with seascape photos for 2016.
- You can also find my waterlily leaf collection with some mobile cases and more.
- Finally there is a collection with tranquil seascape evening photos, you can buy them on canvas, trays, posters and some mobile cases.
On the move
This post is an entry in the Weekly photo challenge. To read more about this challenge, or participate, please click the link above.
I have chosen a few different ways to be on the move, on land and at sea. Both photos of boats at sea are taken outside Venice, from the island Lido. The first photo shows some speed boats racing just outside the harbor. The second sea photo shows a water bus or Vaporetto, the way to transport people in and outside Venice.
The other two photos are taken in London, one at a market where some person are just rushing by and the other photo shows one of the “new” buses in London. OT but I think that design is rather cool:)
My photos are organized in a slide show. The photos change automatically or just click on a thumbnail to enlarge it. If you click below the slide on “FS” you get the slide in full screen, which offers you a greater photo experience!
I’m a wanderer, not by the meaning that I travel a lot, but I walk a lot. I’m a person who loves photography and it’s hard to take photos just in the backyard. That is one reason for me to walk around a lot. To see things, to enjoy views and to take pictures. Sitting in a car do not give the same feeling of the surroundings. Walking get everything closer to me.
I have been a wanderer most of my life, as a kid I loved to walk, mainly in the forest and by the sea. As an adult I still find peace walking with nature close to me.
I think we all are wanderers from time to time, now I mean in another way. I think of all the times in live when we feel that it’s time to move on, time to see new things or time to heal. It might be a new job, a break up from a relationship or maybe time to get another place to live. We usually “know” when it’s time to walk away and continue the wandering of life in some other way or place.
I think that walking a lot gives me comfort and also calm me down in times of change, it is a great way to “walk on” with life, it gives time for reflection and to heal the soul. This makes me a wanderer in to ways at the same time;)
Last weekend I was out walking in our archipelago and I promised you some more photos from that trip. There is some sea view photos and also some from the surrounding nature. I hope you enjoy these photos from a wanderer.
I love this season, springtime is my favorite time of the year. And why is that? The answer is simple; my garden life begins. Next to photography, gardening is my greatest passion in life. These are the two hobbies that take almost all my time off. And it is possible, of course to combine, gardens, flowers and trees are wonderful objectives for a photographer.
My children are of corse my number one priority but they also like gardening. We plant and build, place stones and buy flowers. We have enjoyed a few days off in sunny weather and now there is big things happening in my garden. I must say my “garden” is really small but I can manage to get a lot of plants and flowers to fit in there:) We also put some seeds in the earth this monday so now we are waiting for our carrots, salad, peas and more to grow.
Garden life photos
The photos in this post are taken on the flowers that I have in my garden right now, there are more to come, but these first are special to me.
Look at the photos and enjoy my flowers and my garden life!
