Every day has it’s beauty.
Every new dawn we experience is a miracle.
It’s just that we don’t realize.
When we are in a hurry, in sadness, in anger or maybe hatred.
We have to take the time to stop and just look.
Take time and get the opportunity to experience the beauty in life and to celebrate all the beautiful things in life.
Sunny days in October, autumn is showing its best side. A visit to the archipelago makes the soul feel good. The environment is so calm and the light is awesome. Soon November will come and there are seldom sunny days that time of the year. I try to save some light until I get there:)
In Sweden there is vacation for all schools this week, and I have taken some time off too. A great period in the middle of autumn, time for a break and some rest.
Blinded by nature
Blinded by the sun in the morning. It was shining bright through the haze, when trekking in Cinque Terre, Italy. I have seen a lot of beautiful landscapes but this was really amazing. We had some hard paths but it was worth every step:) Read more about all the trails here.
On the surface
I had the most wonderful walk this morning… The sun warmed me and the water was calm. It have been a while since I took any photos, at all. But this morning I could not resist, the nature was stunning. Moments like this is rare nowadays, moments in perfect harmony and calmness. I was lost in the scene and I had a wonderful time. I like to share some photos with you, nothing special or big, but just the small details. Details on the surface, in the reflections. When everything is calm and relaxing.

I find peace by the sea. There is nothing more calming than watching the water, the sky and just feel the nature surrounding. That is serenity for me.
I have lived near the archipelago all my life and I often go there, its beautiful all seasons, and it always offers peace to my mind.
The photos for this weeks challenge is taken in a place I used to pass every day to work. The mornings where stunning. A new day begins and that is a beautiful thing. Watching it by the sea is almost overwhelming, for me:)
Photos can hardly give justice to the real views but I hope these will show some of its greatness.
The new day begins and offers new opportunities. Every new day is a great gift. We should feel gratitude and salute every new day.
Autumn light -shadowed leaf
Shadows can be frightening, they can give contrast in a picture.
Shadows can also offer some coolness during a hot summer day.
When taking photos, shadows offer a lot of creative ways to give some tension to the picture and also contrast or effect. It might be frightening or just peaceful. The photo below shows shadows in the forest during an autumn day. The sun is no longer very high up, that gives nice shadows and light also in the middle of the day.

Those last summer colors…
This post about “summer colors” were supposed to be written last weekend. But once again I have been struggling with some technical issues. This time I could not upload photos, wich is a very bad thing in a blog with photos, isn’t it?
Anyway, now it is solved, something about my rights, set by the web host. Enough about that for now.
Last saturday I went out to my garden for inspiration and also to make some cleaning up before winter is here. I found a lot of various colors, small splashes of summer colors in a very grey autumn day. Lovely and enjoyable:) I love my summer garden and will miss it when it’s gone. But on the other hand: winter and snow can be really lovely too.
Here are a selection of my last flowers for this season, I hope you will enjoy them. And I hope that you might sence how wonderful they look out there in all the grey and brown autumn days.
Summer summary 2014
Summer is soon coming to an end. This year too…
I have gone through my photos for this summer and my summer summary contains a lot of activities outside, in nature and by the sea in the archipelago. A great summer that started with a lot of rain in June and later turned into a fantastic summer with a lot of sunny days.
Here you will find a lot of photos in a gallery that tell a lot about this summer from a rain wet rose in June to sunny days by the sea. This summer has been amazing and the photos will be enjoyed for a long time:) I will come back to them during the winter, I think it is a great way to keep the summer feeling for a longer time.
Some of the photos have been on this blog in earlier posts but I think they have to be included in this summary, I hope you don’t mind to enjoy them once more…

Time for another stage on the hiking trail Sörmlandsleden
This time we chose a hiking trail close to the Baltic sea. We started walking close by the water from the small village “Nävekvarn”.
Then we came to some smaller climbs which we had to climb to be able to enjoy the amazing views from above.
The hiking trail are prepared with some fire places, seats and also some windshields. We did not need any windshield this day, but it was nice to take a break by the sea and have some food and to dive into the water:)
Our walk continued into the forest… I must say the first half, by the sea was the nicest stage of this hiking trail. But I think the forest are a calming and nice place to be so it was absolutely OK to go that way. There are always the possibility to turn back and walk the same way, but I am glad we did not. This way we where offered a great variation in views and experiences through our day.
