It happens from time to time, more often now than before…
I take photos with my phone. I heard that the best camera is the one that you brings with you and while my days are very short of time to do anything more than work or study, iphonephotography is good enough. Or what do you say? Some years ago I wouldn’t have said that but I than had a lot of time to take photos. I love taking photos and I miss it so I work my way back and long for the days in summer when the school is off:)
So here I bring you some more flowers. I found the most amazing colored wall with some magnolia buds just in front, I think it makes a rather cool effect in the first photo.
I have more or less given up the one year long photo challenge that is called “365 foton“.
My time is not enough for all things that need to be done in my life. And I have to make some choices. But still I enjoy my moment of photographing, even if it want happen every day.
Like today: the world has turned into a frosty landscape and all the roses in my garden are freezing. They are still beautiful, but covered with ice crystals. Soon they will be gone for this time. Guess I will see them next spring, when the nice warm weather returns.
But I really like winter and wish for a cold and snowy one. It’s been a few years now with little or no snow at all, which is a bit sad, I love the silence and the white snow that lights up in the dark, so I hope it soon will be here.
Meanwhile I hope you will enjoy some of my frosty garden photos:)
Theme 21 of 365 in my photo challenge. The interpretation in this photo is for the theme “lilies”. One of all favorite flowers, especially the white ones. I bought some lilies a few weeks ago. Went away for a week. On my return the fragrance of lilies met me when entering. My goal was to take a photo of them to this challenge, thought almost all of them was withered… Lucky enough a few where still in their peak so I managed to get some photos to chose from.
An evening walk, starting out in my June garden resulted in some discoveries and a few photos.
Thought I haven’t been online many hours the last weeks, I thought it was time to get some inspiration and new photos. The weather have been terrible lately and my inspiration have been lacking.
I have had a week off, with my kids home from school. There haven’t been much time for me online then, I have spent many wonderful hours with my kids instead:)
Tonight I finally got out on an evening walk, the weather was at least OK. Not sunny but not raining either. And I discovered a lot of fantastic roses in my garden. Things happen when I stay out of my garden for some days. Amazingly the bushes was all covered with roses and also the clematis has a lot of flowers. Summer keeps struggling even if there are cold weather and a lot of rain.
Here are some photos from my garden, just a few, but I have chosen my favorite flowers for now, next week there will be others:)
This Thursday nature post is a celebration to the very first summer flowers. I think that May-June are the most beautiful months of all. Flowers all around and new are coming constantly. A month from now there are considerable less number of different flowers. Here and now, especially in this moment:-)
I wish to welcome early summer
I wish to embrace all flowers in the world
I wish to scream out; hello my friends, welcome back!
Everything wakes up and everywhere a new life begins. Reborn or newborn, a work of Mother Nature.
Like the Magnolia blossoms in my garden or the daisies that just pops up everywhere in the grass, awesome to watch them facing the sun. :
Even if it is early summer, some flowers already are ready to leave and to give life to new flowers next year like this Dandelion:
I will finish this walk through early summer flowers with an amazing “sea” of tulips, they are really wonderful in their soft pink color, don’t you think?
I have only been participating in Cee’s Fun Photo challenge once before. To read more about this challenge, please click on my link in the headline. This week the theme “flowers” really caught me, I love gardening and of course flowers. I have some photos but not so many as I thought… However I found a few to choose from and that I think suits this theme.
I struggle for variation, I have some close up and some photo from a distance. Some whit lot of flowers and some with only one. Well you will see this and I hope you will enjoy my entry in this challenge.
I love this season, springtime is my favorite time of the year. And why is that? The answer is simple; my garden life begins. Next to photography, gardening is my greatest passion in life. These are the two hobbies that take almost all my time off. And it is possible, of course to combine, gardens, flowers and trees are wonderful objectives for a photographer.
My children are of corse my number one priority but they also like gardening. We plant and build, place stones and buy flowers. We have enjoyed a few days off in sunny weather and now there is big things happening in my garden. I must say my “garden” is really small but I can manage to get a lot of plants and flowers to fit in there:) We also put some seeds in the earth this monday so now we are waiting for our carrots, salad, peas and more to grow.
Garden life photos
The photos in this post are taken on the flowers that I have in my garden right now, there are more to come, but these first are special to me.
