Earth is such a beautiful place. Every time I’m outdoors, near the sea or in the forest I feel calm and I feel trust in something bigger than us. Nature is calming and healing, as always. I have spent far to much time inside lately, busy studying. I learn a lot but I never calm down enough:D Its no big effort to go outdoors for a few hours, its so worth it and I’m aware of that. Still i don’t prioritise it a lot. But today it happened, I went outdoors all day in the warming november sun. Now I’m fileld with a lot of new energy and can go on studying for hours:) Have a wonderful weekend<3
Magnificent seaview, all covered in frost and ice. In the horizon I can spot some islands, a mirage makes them look like they are floating. Looks a bit fuzzy, like if I couldn’t see clear. I guess it’s because of the very cold weather that day.
We are now expecting some rainy days but I hope winter will get back one more time before spring arrives. I love spring but I don’t like a rainy winter and it will be two more months until spring is here. Until then I would love to have cold and snowy days!
A lovely winter beach.
Another view over the Baltic sea on a cold winter day. The ice is yet not to trust, the water is still open not far from the shore. People that like to skate have to go to the small lakes nearby, this is to dangerous.
But for hiking down the winter beach it’s just amazing to watch and to enjoy all the light the day brings:)
In summertime this place is crowded, its very popular to go here for a swim or to just relax in the sun. Such a contrast, but I love both seasons, this time of the year it gives so much peace to the mind to just walk around and enjoy mother nature.
Sunny days in October, autumn is showing its best side. A visit to the archipelago makes the soul feel good. The environment is so calm and the light is awesome. Soon November will come and there are seldom sunny days that time of the year. I try to save some light until I get there:)
In Sweden there is vacation for all schools this week, and I have taken some time off too. A great period in the middle of autumn, time for a break and some rest.
Look here what I found this morning, when I was taking a walk and arrived at the marina: it was all frosty, already… I must say it adds some special beauty to things, that glimmering, ice cold frost. The sun really reinforce the glimmering:)
Titta här vad jag såg i morse när jag tog min promenad och kom till småbåtshamnen: allt täckt med frost, redan… Men ändå: det blir väldigt vackert med den glittrande, kalla frosten. Solen förstärker verkligen glittret:)
This post is an entry in WP Daily Post weekly photo challenge. To see more entries or to participate, please click the link above! The theme for this week is silhouette, an artistic expression in photography if you ask me. I think silhouettes can be amazing and though they don’t show too much details they actually tell the pictures story. Amazing and fascinating.
My first photo is taken in the archipelago, late in December last year. The sun doesn’t get high up at that time of the year so all day is a “golden hour”. My kids and I had a day outdoors with some lunch out on the lonely beach. A great day:)
Next photo is taken on an evening walk, when the light was the same but this time it is taken in March and spring has arrived:)
A contrast might be a lot of different things. It might be a color different from the surrounding or a shadow. I might also be a lonely flower in the street and so on.

Last evening I spent in one of my favorite places, situated in our archipelago. I went to a place where I have been many times, but it’s always amazing. This time there where a light wind and wonderful sounds from the sea. I always love the views, the smell from water and also the calmness it brings me.
Our weather is a bit moody this summer. We noticed it had just rained before we got there but the sun just returned. It created a wonderful evening light with great skies.
Of to the challenge now… The first to photos shows the same place at winter and now when it’s summer. You can spot a part of a cabin, that is where the lighthouse personnel lived during the years 1867-1954. The belfry were used to warn ships in misty weather.
Next photo shows the lighthouse, I like the contrast between manmade and nature.
The last photo for this challenge shows a silhouette of a man standing on a rock just beside the lighthouse.
Now it’s time for a poll, please tell me which photo do you favor? You might use multiple choices. The poll is open until 10th of July 2014.
This sea view post contains photos taken an early morning in the archipelago.
It’s a bit late for a Saturday post, it’s actually Sunday morning now… But with this morning shots I then say good morning to you all:) Mornings are wonderful and almost magic, especially outside, by the sea or in the elsewhere in the nature. The air feels so fresh and everything wakes up. A new day is born.
Welcoming the new day by the sea is a privilege and I wish for everyone to experience that at some point, it really is a fantastic moment.
When these photos was taken it was a bit haze and the sun was almost not visible, but it was there, just waiting to burst through.
This weeks Saturday sea view consists of photos taken in the early morning and also photos taken in early evening. In both cases the light are supposed to be great. The morning photos have some morning haze in them which give the photos a bit of a mystic atmosphere.
The morning was during this week and I took the photos on my way to work at 6.30. The sun was not really getting through yet but it was a wonderful morning.
Next part of this post contains photos from the same day ut in a different place and from my evening walk. They are taken closer to town and not in the archipelago. First I passed a wonderful tree and a bridge, later on I passed the creek which are a lovely place to rest by or to stroll beside.
