I love when winter meets spring, don’t you do that to? We haven’t had much winter lately, not for several years. 5-6 years ago we had some fantastic winters in opposite to the latest years. We had lots of snow and then spring arrived. As a result the snow was slowly melting in the warm sun, much as it “should be”, according to me.
While I have been looking in my photo archives I have found some amazing winter photos. It seems like we have had days that are cold and crispy, while the sun light makes the whole world several shades lighter.
I also found wonderful, sunny spring day with melting ice. Finally the sea is slowly winning the fight against the compact ice and it breaks apart.
It’s lovely to see how finally the spring wins the fight and the water gets it’s freedom. It’s much the opposite to last year when we did not even notice that winter turned into spring. The last photos in this post is taken in springtime and summer. Both with wonderful evening light and stunning reflection. I hope you will enjoy and leave your opinion below about winter meets spring! What do you think about when you see this photos?
Light that create a shadow -different sides of the same coin:) I love the structure of shadows on the wall and the possibility to create different structures, playing with different light and source of light. Of course the shadow is also created by the object in focus. These components are one of the central things in photography, when I take photos indoors. I think it’s similar to all artistic expressions, that it is all about playing with and interpreting the surroundings. Fun and enjoyable!
This post is a interpretation of the theme in the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge. I hope you enjoy the picture and if you would like to see more photos of shadows please click here.
Solitude is a positive word for me. I love to walk on empty streets all by myself, left with my thoughts. I need it to recover, it might be a walk in an empty street or spending time alone in nature. In stressful times its easy to forget about taking time for myself, which makes me even more stressed. This photo shows a narrow street in the old town, Stockholm. It’s crowded in the old town, but some of the narrow streets are empty. Wonder feeling walking around all alone:)

Do you have photos that you would like to showcase on Crowdifyclub?
Right now I’m trying out a new site: Crowdifyclub. It is a social network that pays members for various things that they are already doing for free. This includes uploading photographs, art, blogging, creating events, sharing content of other members and much more. Click here to read more.
The site is in startup mode right now and the number of members are increasing all the time.I think it is fun to join it from start. You can also join and create an account for free, to see what its all about. If you are interested in social media, photo, blogging or have some idea you like to get help sharing, go check it out:)
Here is some of my photos that I uploaded to Crowdifyclub:
The best thing this far is that I get a lot of help to be promoted. Of course this includes to help others and promote their ideas, blog posts and photos. It is about give and take like in everyday life. And that is what I think is the most promising part of Crowdifyclub.
Today there is a lot of sites where I can sell photos. I also know that there is a lot of social media sites. But I have not found a site that combines these activities and also encourage promotion. It is free to check out to see what it’s all about.
Another weekend comes to an end and it ends with a sunny Sunday. Snow and sun, brings a lot of light and makes me feel good walking in nature. I hope you have had a great weekend too with some time to relax and get som recover:)
I can´t think of a better way to start of a new year. I love the cold crispy air and snowy landscapes. Unfortunately most snow is gone now, we have had rain… I can still feel how great it was hiking in the cold sunny day. There was a lot energy in the air. Its an incomparable source of happiness:)
Below there is some more photos from our hike the other day.
First winter landscape 2017… First days with snow, a few weeks passed since Christmas and we finally got our winter:) The sea is, as always, stunning. What can be more amazing than hiking in a sunny winter day? Lot of wonderful light that brings new energy to a tired mind.
I hope you all are able to enjoy the new year and that it started well for you:) I will try to be a more active blogger this year, even if I still studying. BUT I love nature and photography and it makes me happy so I guess its a great way to recover.
Another stunning Friday morning, its not possible to describe in words or pictures how wonderful the experience was. Mornings is my favourite time of the day. I can watch the new day being born, its something special in that moment. I watch the colours of the sky shifting fast, from purple to orange, depending on in which direction I chose to look.
Mornings give us the opportunity to feel grateful for receiving the gift of another day. But also to feel grateful for the honour to watch the beauty of the new day, the beginning of e new life cycle<3
Earth is such a beautiful place. Every time I’m outdoors, near the sea or in the forest I feel calm and I feel trust in something bigger than us. Nature is calming and healing, as always. I have spent far to much time inside lately, busy studying. I learn a lot but I never calm down enough:D Its no big effort to go outdoors for a few hours, its so worth it and I’m aware of that. Still i don’t prioritise it a lot. But today it happened, I went outdoors all day in the warming november sun. Now I’m fileld with a lot of new energy and can go on studying for hours:) Have a wonderful weekend<3
There is so much beauty in this world to enjoy and share. I can't get enough of admiring photos from all corners of the world. This blog is my contribution to this great treasure.
