This is my first entry, ever in this challenge. Challenges makes me more creative and in my photograph and in my searching for “Old” photos. My entry comes here:
February usually are a month filled with snow. Not this time though… Here are some nature pictures that I took last weekend, and as you can see the snow is gone. The weather was really nice, about +7 °C, my children run around like happy calves. Feels like spring is here! But somehow I have learned that spring in February comes without any guaranties, there can and probably will be more snow. But for now; we had a great time outside!
I am not sure if I will get this right… but I try my best. These three photos are taken on the same street in Old Town, Stockholm. The second photo is taken a bit closer to the object in the third one, I hope this will work as an entry to the challenge:)

Mornings are so beautiful, all fresh and pure. The new day begins and gives us new opportunities. One day is like the life from birth do death, the morning sun is waking us up to the new life:) Last sunday I woke up and found that the sun was shining:
For many people on earth fresh water is a treasure. Some take it for granted but it really is not. -tweet this

I can hardly imagine anything more romantic than Italy. I been there 5 times now and just love it. Last summer we went to Lido, an Island just outside Venice. These photos I took from a Vaporetto boat on our way on the Grand Canal. A fantastic way to see the most of Venice! To read more about the Travel Theme, got to http://wheresmybackpack.com!
I have not been taken any photos for several weeks now. Today my plan was to get a lot of photos from a wonderful place by the creek. I got about ten photos, then the rain was start to fall. A lot of rain… February is supposed to be a month with lots of snow, but not this year. Well here are my best shots of today.
This post is my interpretation of: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2014/02/07/weekly-photo-challenge-selfie/
But I have made some experiments with pictures of my shadow. I believe that we today see so many faces everywhere so I thought a year ago that I should do my own kind of selfies, just for fun. Here you can see some of them, I edited them to B&Ws, I do think it works, what do you think?
The first two photos I took in September 2012:
The last one is taken on a bridge by the sea in June 2013:
In summer of 2010 I went on a trip to Provence in France. We finished our trip in Cassis down by the Mediterranean Sea. A picturesque small town with lot of great alleys to walk in. We stayed at a Camping outside the town and there was no problem getting down to the beach and old town. But getting back… We where biking on this trip, but the gradient of the streets back was about 20 % so it took 40 minutes to walk back. Not a problem when I am on vacation and it was a really beautiful town. These photos are taken in Cassis. First the beautiful sun of Provence, I just love this little detail! And the second one with a very yellow boat;)

I now have started to get tired of my lack of inspiration. The weather outside is +2 °C and grey, grey, grey. This has been the story for the last week now. My inspiration to go out to take photos is zero… This is not really fun, so I started to dig in my “pile” of photos that are stored in my computer. I found these photos taken during summer of 2012. The weather was not so good that summer, a lot of rain, but still so much more pleasant to look at than the current weather situation;-)
I also made b&w versions of my photos, some is better, I think, than the colored ones. But some looks better in color. What do you think about it? I believe b&w can really be striking in some photos. I did not expect that to happen with a photo of flowers, but look at the last photos in this post!
